Verna Deno has walked a varied path — as a former missionary, a pastor's wife, a multicultural school administrative assistant, and a bilingual tutor. Her international experience spans Italy, Switzerland, Canada, Mexico, and Africa.
That breadth of experience shaped the heart behind this book: a deep passion for other cultures and, more particularly, for one young Ugandan man and the 33 orphans he fights for every day.
